Athanasios Kazanas

Thanassis Kazanas is an Assistant Professor in Macroeconomics-Monetary Economics at the School of Economics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and a BSc in Economics from the University of Athens. He also holds an MSc in Economics and a PhD in the Estimation of linear and non linear Monetary Policy Rules from Athens University of Economics and Business. His research interests include among others the estimation of fiscal and monetary policy rules, applied econometrics and forecasting macroeconomic variables. He has published research papers in various academic Journals including Economica, Journal of Macroeconomics, Journal of Economic Modelling, The Manchester School. He is referee to many leading international scientific journals.
