Christina Boutsouki is Professor in Marketing at the Economics Department, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She holds a BSc in Mathematics (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) an MSc in Operational Research (Lancaster University, Management School) and a PhD in Retail Marketing (Manchester Metropolitan University, Department of Retailing and Marketing). Christina Boutsouki has taught a number of marketing related topics (Strategic Marketing, Advertising, Marketing Research, Retail Management) both at home and abroad. Her research interests lie within the areas of Advertising and Retailing. In particular, her recent research focuses on advertising effectiveness, store and web atmospherics, social media communication, consumer engagement and neuromarketing.
