On Tuesday, April 20, 2021, the online event entitled “Greek Economy: The Post–Covid-19 Era” was held, organized by the Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) and the Master’s Program in Business Administration – MBA of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, under the initiative and coordination of Professor and Chair of the Department of Economics at AUTh, Kyriaki Kosmidou.

The discussion analyzed the challenges and opportunities facing the Greek economy in the post–Covid-19 era. Topics included the Green Transition, the country’s Digital Transformation, the banking sector—which is expected to play a pivotal role through the provision of liquidity from European funds—the automotive industry, electromobility, and more.

Participants in the discussion included Member of the European Parliament Maria Spyraki, Professor of Energy Economics at ESCP Business School Kostas Andriosopoulos, Head of the Special Lending Division at National Bank of Greece Argyro Banila, and CCO of Citroën, DS Automobiles & Mazda, Dimitris Kavvouris.
